- Windows and doors are manufactured in a factory located in Rantatöysä, Alavus. Carefully selected pinewood is the foundation of our high quality products. As our aluminium-, paint-, glass- and blind suppliers we have selected domestic companies that have their production located in Finland.
Exterior doors
Frame, threshold, sealing
- Our doors use double sealing (sealing also on the threshold), which ensures that no rainwater or cold air gets in the wrong places. With the double sealing the door leaf and frame develop heat confining air pockets, so the door is more equally warm also around its perimeter. Silicone seals used in the doors are long-lasting and retain their qualities throughout the year.
- Thanks to the hardwood material and a protective aluminium strip the threshold can withstand even the toughest of uses.
- Frame depth options 130, 150, 170 and 210 mm
- A frame always has two rabbets
Glasses
- In door glazings double sealing is always used to maximize rainproofness.
- Decorative, selective triple glass unit with argon gas filling or alternatively a clear insulated glass unit.

Laminated veneer lumber
- Door leaves use laminated veneer lumber structure. Laminated veneer lumber is manufactured from conifer veneer by gluing and because of its rigid nature and precise measurability it is an ideal solution when looking for something extra durable. Laminated veneer lumber together with the double aluminium reinforcement of the panels on top ensures that the door leaf doesn’t bend with the weather and humidity changing.
Hardware
- For a door to be functional and pleasurable to use, its fitting and adjusting must be done carefully. The adjustable lock counterparts and hinges we use make a succesful installation easier.
- In our doors we use Abloy locks which have been designed for Finnish conditions, so the functionality of the locks is first class. Abloy’s extensive representative network ensures that help is available at all times if lock- or key problems catch you off guard.

Frame, threshold, sealing, thermal insulation
- Our doors use triple sealing (sealing also on the threshold), which ensures that no rainwater or cold air gets in the wrong places. With the triple sealing the door leaf and frame develop heat confining air pockets, so the door is more equally warm also around its perimeter. - Thanks to the hardwood material and a protective aluminium strip the threshold can withstand even the toughest of uses. (Picture 2)
- A frame always has two rabbets.
- Glued circular wood structure makes the door structure sturdy and durable. In addition, thanks to its circular wood structure a balcony door can be also – by request – manufactured with different shades of clear coating, thus making the wood’s naturally beautiful fiber pattern stand out more. - Special thermal insulation finishes a high-quality balcony door and ensures exceptional U-values (starting from 0,73 w/m²K).

Hardware & glasses
- A standard balcony door delivery always comes with a complete set of hardware, including a lockable espagnolette system, handle-operated venting hardware and a pulling handle. Espagnolette lock system is reliable Abloy quality, and the venting hardware hooked up to it allows for the door to be locked in place with a handle while open, preventing wind from throwing it back and forth. As a standard in our balcony door is a pulling handle which makes closing the triple sealed door easy while also saving the espagnolette- and handle mechanism from unnecessary strain.
- The door is also equipped with three anti-theft hinges.
- In our balcony doors as a standard we use 6 mm glasses inside and outside the triple insulated glass unit to improve safety.
